Please read all of my policies prior to booking an appointment. By booking an appointment, you are agreeing to follow all rules.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday 9am - 7pm

• If you need an appointment outside of business hours, please text my business number to discuss availability.

📲 REMINDER & CONFIRMATION POLICY ‼️

You’ll receive a reminder text the day before your scheduled appointment. To secure your spot, all clients are required to REPLY TO THE REMINDER TEXT.

Confirmation must be received by 4:30 PM the day before your appointment—regardless of the appointment time.
If confirmation is not received by then, your appointment will be CANCELED and your DEPOSIT FORFEITED.

This policy ensures I’m able to plan my commute and honor my schedule without last-minute changes. Every slot is valuable, and unconfirmed appointments prevent others from being serviced.

Thank you for understanding and respecting the time that goes into preparing for your visit. I appreciate your cooperation in keeping the booking process smooth and professional for everyone.

DEPOSITS

• Appointment slots are not held until a deposit has been received. I do not hold slots without a deposit.

• All deposits are $30 and non-refundable

• Deposits are applied to your final balance

• After your deposit is secured, you MUST reply to the reminder text the day before your appointment to have a CONFIRMED slot.

Special Considerations:

• Custom Orders & Wig Construction:

If you are purchasing a pre-made wig that needs custom color or adjustments (not full construction), contact me directly for a custom quote.

If you are requesting a custom sewing machine wig, bundles/frontals/closures must be purchased in full, and a $100 non-refundable construction deposit is required before I begin.

Consultations are required for custom wig construction.

LATE POLICY

I do not charge late fees—I understand life happens and do my best to accommodate.

• If you’re running late, please text me as soon as possible

• On busier days, timing is critical.

If you still want your hair done and can’t afford to reschedule, the service type may need to be adjusted.

For example: if you booked smedium braids and arrive late, we may need to switch to medium.

• If I’m running behind, I’ll notify you with an estimated wait time.

Delays can occur due to detangling, content creation, traffic, etc.

Lateness Limits & No-Shows:

• If you are 15+ minutes late without communication, your appointment will be canceled

• No-call/no-shows will be charged 100% of the service fee to the card on file and banned from future bookings

CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULES

• Rescheduling: You may reschedule once if requested at least 72 hours in advance. Your deposit will transfer to your new appointment.

• Cancellations within 48 hours will incur a 50% service charge

• Same-day cancellations will incur a 100% service charge

(I understand emergencies happen—just communicate with me and we can adjust if needed. This portion of my policy is in place for those who are inconsiderate of my time.)

• No Call / No Show = 100% charge + banned from future bookings

PAYMENT METHODS

💵 Cash – for in-person cash deposits, please contact me via my business number.

Final payments are due once your service is about 90% complete.
After you approve the look and payment is received, I’ll move forward with final styling. This helps ensure a smooth, secure process for both of us—thank you for understanding.

REFUNDS

All sales are final and non-refundable.

If you have any concerns, please speak up before leaving your appointment so I can make any necessary adjustments.

I want you to leave satisfied and confident.

GENERAL RULES

• Minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian or responsible adult

• Single parents are welcome to bring their child(ren) ❤️

• You are welcome to bring snacks or food to enjoy during your appointment

HAIR PREPARATION POLICY

To ensure the best results and a smooth appointment process, please review the following guidelines:

FOR COSMETOLOGY SERVICES:

✅ Please arrive THOROUGHLY DETANGLED – Hair should be fully detangled from roots to ends to prevent delays.

•✅ Shampoo, conditioning, steam treatment, and blowout are included in every cosmetology service (wig installs, sew-ins, silk presses, tape-ins, etc.— any style where your natural hair is either left out or fully put away and inaccessible for the duration of your style).

Failure to arrive thoroughly detangled will result in an additional fee based on the time required to safely detangle your hair.

If I am fully booked that day, we will need to reschedule, or the service you booked may need to be adjusted to fit within the allotted time.

For example, if you booked a specific wig style, we may only have time to install and straighten the wig.

If we end up rescheduling, it will result in a forfeit of your deposit.

If time allows, a detangling service will be added to your appointment.

ONLY FOR BRAID, LOC, & TWIST SERVICES:

• To help you save time and money, the shampoo, conditioning, steam treatment, and blowout are an optional add-on for all braid, twist, or loc services.

If you’d like me to handle your prep, please select this add-on during booking.

✨ Doing your prep? Follow these steps for a safe and effective blowout:

✅ Clean Hair – Hair must be freshly shampooed, conditioned, and free of product buildup.

✅ 100% Dry & Blown Out – Hair must be completely dry and properly blown out before arrival.

Steps for the perfect blowout:

• Apply a water-based leave-in conditioner to hydrate and protect your strands

• Follow with a water-based heat protectant before blow-drying

Don’t want to risk heat damage by doing it yourself? I got you.

You’re welcome to shampoo and condition your hair at home, then select the “Blowout” add-on during booking.

If you choose this option, please arrive with your hair freshly cleansed, detangled, damp, and sectioned into 4 sections for a smooth prep process.

I will apply the proper moisturizing products during your appointment.

BRINGING YOUR HAIR POLICY

Synthetic hair is included in all braid, loc, and twist services 🫶🏽.

If you choose to bring your hair, the price will remain the same.

Human hair add-ons are available.

Please read the description of the service you’re booking for specific hair requirements.

For sew-ins, tape-ins, wig installs, etc., you can purchase high-quality bundles and lace from ariannalyf.com 🛍

If bringing your own, please ensure:

• HD lace only

• Tapes and bundles must be in excellent condition
